CLASSIC NASHVILLE ROADSHOW… is a musical journey into the legends and songs that built Nashville into the capitol of country music. Jason Petty and Katie Deal host a two hour tribute to the true legends of Country Music! The journey begins in the heyday of the Grand Ole Opry and tells the story of Country Music Legends to include: Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Tammy Wynette, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton and more. Well-known songs presented are . . . Mama Tried, Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man, Crazy, Hey Good Lookin’, Stand ByYour Man, Coal Miner’s Daughter, Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes, King of the Road and so many more!
 
The show’s costumes would make Porter Wagoner proud and one of the finest bands ever assembled put their hearts and souls into preserving the proud traditions of Country Music. Jason & Katie not only deliver inspiring renditions of their heroes, they also give historical insight into how these songs were written and performed. There’s even a comedy tribute to everyone’s favorites, Minnie Pearl and Rod Brasfield. Built on the backs of legendary singers and songwriters, the Classic Nashville Roadshow is a loving tribute to all those that made it great.

Jason Petty is an Obie-Award winning actor most famous for his portrayal of the country legend, Hank Williams, in the musical play “Lost Highway.” He also has written and produced 5 national touring shows. He has performed on the Grand Ole Opry a dozen times and has dedicated his career to the preservation of classic traditional country music.
Katie Deal has mesmerized audiences all over the USA with her incredible performance in her Today, Tomorrow and Forever: A Tribute to Patsy Cline. She is a versatile actress, singer and musician who recently drew rave reviews for her performance as June Carter Cash in the Barter Theatre’s rendition of “Ring of Fire.”
